Previous weekly devlog: Week 2
This week, we've been making a lot of process with Last Meal at Cafe Mori:
- The art assets for the food items in the game are done.
- Art assents for the GUI has been completed and sent to the programmer, Speck, for programming into the game.
- Several songs for the visual novel have been completed by the musician, Tav.
- The sound effects have been collected by Tav.
- We are in the process of receiving the game's lines from the voice actors.
Seeing things come together like this makes me very excited to show the final game to everyone! I'm really looking forward to it!
Moving forward, I'll need to complete the following tasks by next week, to create a playable build to send out to playtesters and give them enough time to play through the game and give notes for fixes before the Spooktober Jam deadline:
- Finish the art assets for the remaining character sprites.
- Program the script into Ren'Py, the visual novel's engine.
- Edit the audio and program it in.
- Program various things like the splashscreen, credits, cursor, and so on.
I hope to be able to complete these tasks by the 27th.
